The long awaited bilateral Seat Agreement with the Spanish government were signed in Madrid on 20 September by OHIM's President António Campinos and Spain's Secretary of State for the European Union, Sr. Diego López Garrido. With the signing of the Agreement comes a series of privileges and immunities, both for the Office as an organisation and for the Office's personnel, common to those granted to staff members at other international and EU organisations working in national jurisdictions.
